Why We Like the Voile HyperVector BC Alpine Touring Ski

From its inception, we have loved the versatility of the moderately wasted Vector. Nimbleness in tight spots, float on deeper days, and moderate camber underfoot makes this a ski you can count on no matter the conditions. Couple in Voile's new Hyper construction which features lightweight Paulownia and carbon fiber, we now have that same versatility we love with 15% less weight to haul uphill. Voile absolutely nailed this ski and if you want to reap the benefits, but are worried that your ski approaches might be too long and hilly to justify an alpine setup, then the BC construction is for you.

With a scaled base the HyperVector BC makes hilly approaches a breeze without the need for skins. While this technology doesn't negate the need for skins on steeper climbs, it makes navigating long rolling approaches easier than ever. Without the added weight of skins, these skis feel like feathers on your feet and will have you miles ahead of your partners while they are stuck transitioning time and time again. If your tours include long rolling approaches, but you don't want to ski steep couloirs on nordic skis, then look no farther than the HyperVector BC.

ATTENTION: Using this ski with Quiver Killers or telemark bindings will void Voile's manufacturer warranty.
