Fischer introduced this lightweight BOA lace touring boot back in 16/17 and with it, changed the game in fit and performance for touring boots. The TRAnsalp VERSatile a.k.a. the Travers is an ultra lightweight touring boot, coming in at under 1000 grams in the smaller sizes in this Travers Carbon model. The BOA lacing system has unique pulleys that allow for quick and smooth micro adjustments with one hand. Adding to the BOA system, Fischer was able to achieve an unprecedented 80 degrees of cuff articulation. Allowing for optimal performance when hiking long distances or gearing up for training mode.
The Carbon model gets a Carbon/Aramid plate in the sole of the boot for superior torsional stiffness and power transmission. The Travers Carbon is an awesome option for lightweight and efficient skiing and should be paired with skis and bindings on the lighter end of the spectrum as well.

Very good lightweight (1000 g) boot for uphill, with decent support for downhill. Comfortable and easy to get in and out of. Great boot for ski area laps.
Lightweight, huge range of motion, very comfortable, plenty of downhill stiffness. This is an amazing boot. I read some reviews about this boot not being warm enough, but I absolutely did not find this to be the case. And I’m someone who regularly puts hand warmers in my alpine boots for resort days.
I’ve taken this boot through some very dense and icy snow on steep terrain and the boot had plenty of stiffness to drive my skis into demanding turns, giving me nothing but confidence on the downhill. I weigh about 180lbs, and have carried a 30lb pack skiing in this boot.
For such a lightweight Ski touring boot....I was blown away by the lateral stiffness of this boot. I was amazed how well I could hold down a GS turn in this boot. On the up track, the boots felt effortless.... Big advantage for long Ski Mountaineer days in the mountains.
Super fast and light on the uphill. With no compromise on the descent. I can’t believe how well this boot drives on the downhill for such a light boot. I’m really looking forward to long ski tours in spring linking up peaks and skiing couloirs and quick rips on the PNW volcanos.
