Nice toes. Better than phantom version 'cuz the shape of the center bolt adds some security to the installlation.
Feedback and service by cripplecreek guys has been outstanding.
I'm using them with my phantom slippers. They work great. I only have one complaint. When I lock them out, I can't pop them open with my ski poles. They're just a little tight. But they basically function perfectly after the four full days of touring I've done with them.
Same as the one sold by phantom. The shape of the mounting screw is slightly different. This is cheaper and better.
Needed my hardboot setup sent quick to Canada, and Cripple Creek delivered! Love the service, love the product! Thanks guys
I had a very difficult time getting the toe piece screw holes lined up with the factory holes on my Jones Solution. Eventually I was able to get the exact right spot on each side to get the screws in and everything held together and worked great my first tour out, but it was frustrating that it took so hard to align. Otherwise stoked on the gear and they're working flawlessly.
I have only had a short time on them so far but I love the technology and weight saving in tour mode. The hard boot set up is amazing!
They work ok, but definitely could use some refinement. I have used tech toes on all of my skis for about the last 15 years (various models of Dynafit, Plum, Atomic/ Salomon ect), so they are a bit rudimentary compared to ski specific tech toes. But I appreciate that Spark realizes that hard boots have their advantages for some types of snowboarding. Definitely more efficient than soft boot bindings for touring, but I think they need to improve the binding to board interface, and lighten them up.
