Why We Like the SCOTT Celeste III Touring Boot W

Don't let it's pretty light blue and white color combo fool you, the Celeste III is anything but another average touring boot. This is a lightweight, top of the line backcountry boot that will keep you going lap after lap. Designed for the intermediate to advance women's skier, the Celeste III boasts a lightweight and stiff build to make sure you can skin up steep slops and make any descent look like a walk in the park.

The Celeste III comes in with a Flex index of 120, making it one of the stiffest women specific boots on the market. This gives you that downhill feel when headed down your favorite powder filled backcountry run. But with any backcountry boot we want it to be light and fast on the approach, and thanks to the Grilamid and Powerlit construction the Celeste III is just that.

Hiking up that skinny steep skin track is no problem for these boots. The Celeste III has a cuff rotation of 60 degrees thanks to the rear hook ski/walk mech. This allows the Celeste III to maintain control over your ski when you need it and effortless gliding when skinning up even the steepest and iciest terrain.

No more wet boots half way through the day thanks to the Celeste III Gor-Tex infused Pwr Lite liner. A fully moldable membrane with a waterproofed and breathable construction insures your sweaty feet will keep your liner dry and ready for lap after lap.

Scott Celeste

If you have wide feet these are the boot for you. After many years of trying to squeeze my feet into many other brand boots and continually trying to fix them up to make them work, I finally saw the light and tried on the Scott Celeste. Used twice now on long flat tours they feel like slippers - so comfy. Looking forward to a season without crippling pain!!
