  • Description

The Tecnica Zero G Pro has set the industry standard for performance touring boot. Offering a true 130 flex that wouldn't be out of place on a resort freeride boot, this boot somehow still manages to be light and tour incredibly well. The four buckle design is paired with a carbon injected cuff and bomber walk mech so you can ski this boot as hard as physically possible. Weighing in at 1300 grams, this is the boot for the ambitious tourer who demands absolute, uncompromising performance.

Why We Like the Tecnica Zero G Tour Pro Alpine Touring Boot

The Tecnica Zero G Pro is the benchmark for 4-buckle, overlap alpine touring boots. It is lightweight, walks well, and skis even better. When it comes to touring boots, we all want a stiff and agile boot, but one that doesn't weigh an absurd amount. Tecnica has completely overhauled the Zero G Pro with the idea that a lightweight and stiff ski boot can be one-in-the-same.

The Zero G Pro comes in at an astounding 1300 grams and maintains a consistent 130 flex rating, making this boot a lightweight downhill machine you can use day-in and day-out. Tecnica broke down the boot and revamped almost every piece of the design after the 2018 season. This allowed them to cut almost 250 grams from the weight of the boot, making it one of the lightest 130 flex touring boots on the market. The use of Grilamid gives the Zero G Pro responsiveness and stiffness that won't break down as fast as other plastics used in the touring world. The Cuff has an added co-injected carbon mold giving it a slight cut in weight and the required stiffness for top-skiing performance.

Tecnica has added a new "hook" to its walk/ski locking system that will give the cuff a whopping 55 degrees of rotation in walk mode, and absolutely secures the cuff to the boot when you switch to ski mode.

It's a fact that the Tecnica Zero G Pro Tour was one of our quickest to sell last season. It is also a fact that they ski like an alpine boot and tour like the best lightweight uphill touring boots. So, get them while they last!

    Good stuff

light and comfy on the up, stiff and strong on the down. nuff sed. first day did a 12 mile tour, expected to murder my heel skin, but they were surprisingly good right out of the box. should break in to a perfect fit. I have a super skinny foot and lower leg, and can crank these down to fit no problem.

    Zero G Pro Tour Boot

Amazing boot. Fit is good out of the box. I do find the 99mm last although perfect in the foot area, it is a bit roomy around the cuff. There is an option to move the buckle latches so not a big deal. Great flex for all around backcountry skiing.

Ask a Question: Can I get a refund for the 40$ expedited shipping cost?
    Item not received....

I unfortunately cannot accurately rate the product because I haven’t received it yet. I even paid the express shipping amount of 40$ for 5 day shipping on April 6; it’s now April 14 and nothing has arrived.

    Technica Zero G Pro Tour

I'm super pleased with this boot. I bought the boot and the following weekend proceeded to but 18 miles and over 7k worth of vert on it to see how it performed. Needless to say by the end of the weekend in the wrong boots my feed would be barking at me. But in these, they were ready to keep on trucking. Not to mention the power delivery the boots provided that had me skiing like a bat out of hell. The boots rock.

    Epitome of Performance Ski Boots

I must admit, I’m new to Touring but wanted the option to explore various venues of combined ski/climbing. A few yrs ago I discovered Technica Ten.2 HV boots. Awesome fit for high arch and wide foot albeit heavy. I read a review on the Tech Zero G and approached Cripple Creek. Alex helped me when selecting my new boots. After trying on 4 versions of AT boots I selected the Zero Gs. After skiing several days I made an appointment w/ JP. After tweaking (punching) my left boot, they’re perfect. I highly recommend CCB (Avon). Thanks guys. You really helped make our vacay a resounding success. The weight savings of my new boots, skis and Duke PTs is astounding.
