Now there is a ski to truly put steep and deep to the test. Scott has created their Superguide 105 with one thing in mind, steep couloirs, deep snow, and fast ascents. There are very few companies out there that have brought this construction to light. Having a playful yet stiff powder ski is what any avid backcountry skier needs.
Designed with Scotts full length wood core and Carbon/Aramid elliptical sidewall construction, the Superguide 105 holds up in practically any condition. It ski's like a 95mm in the crud and a 115mm in the powder. this ski brings you to a wide range of quiver slots and is one ski wonder.
As an added bonus the Superguide 105 comes with the skin fixation system to allow for quick action skin attachment and detachment. meaning there is no more fussing about with your ski's off your foot when removing your skins in a steep and precarious location.

Hey, haven’t even received the skis yet. And it’s 85 degrees out, so unlikely to give them a try until November or December! However, the 5 * is based on having used these skis in Europe last winter.
