We know the remarkable Superguide 88 Women's alpine touring ski. We have sold many of these to the ladies over the years out of our Aspen Highlands, slopeside shop. The reason being that it is super light, easy to turn, and incredibly stable skiing down often firm, front side slopes. Lucky for us all, Scott Sports has brought back their acclaimed Superguide 88 Women's ski.
Equally ideal for exercise uphill skiing, committing ski mountaineering and Spring corn sessions, this ski wants to be your friend and partner. It wants to be there for you, through thick and thin snow with its Pro-Tip Rocker that floats through powder and crud in the backcountry, but with a shape that is fast and stable on rock hard snow.
This ski has a really good core. To be specific it has a dual wood (Paulownia/Beech) core with strategically placed torsionally rigid Carbon/Aramid fibers along the full length of the ski. This ski also has a really nice profile with its new 3Dimension Touring Sidecut profile that has a wider radius on the shovel, a long radius underfoot and a shorter radius on the tail, which enable the women's Superguide 88 to point it down the slope, arc large edge-setting turns, and then turn quickly through tight chutes and glades.
With its tiniest version coming in at 144cm in length, this ski does not discriminate on size or weight with the 152cm coming in at a scant 1150 grams. Wearing a hip new powder blue top sheet with black and grey accessories, it's time for you to start your own relationship with the all new Scott Superguide 88 Women’s ski!
