Dynafit Hoji Pro Tour W Boot
Boot Fitters Advice
Ready to take your ascents and descents to the next level? The women's Hoji is an all-in-one dream touring boot. Constructed with the all new Hoji ski/walk mechanism, these boots allow for an effortless transition between skiing down and hiking up.
The Hoji ski/walk mechanism is a new design that Dynafit has developed with the idea that the transition from walking to skiing should cost no time and no extra effort. A single lever walk mode pops you into a free pivot motion which feels similar to many rando race boots or ultralight offerings on the market. The forward motion is virtually limitless, while the rearward motion is more than enough for even the flattest of roads. In addition, the Hoji women's also uses the Speed Nose technology to deliver a more natural and smoother step when skinning.
How is the downhill, you ask? The whole reason to ski this boot is that it redefines the quick transition among stiff boots. In combination with the walk mechanism, the Hoji is a smooth transition between uphill and downhill, and provides a surprising stiffness that rivals the biggest boots on the market.
Coming in at 1320 grams for size 24, this boot is light and fast, and made with a full Grilamid® build. The design is durable and stiff and will hold up to the test of time.
- Boot with prime weight-to-power ratio
- Singular lever for easy transitions between ski and walk mode
- 120 flex for powerfull downhill performance
- Higher volume boot with 103.5mm last to fit a wide range of feet

Fit great out of the box, one small punch required for a nuisance of a bunion. Fit/comfort/walking/skiing all 5 star. Simply awesome boots.
I haven’t had a chance to use any of the gear set up yet! Waiting for that snow to pile up! But it sure looks pretty hanging out in my living room.
I do have to say though, that my fitting (and therapy of decisions) sessions with Jim Howarth were absolutely amazing!! He was incredibly informative, and did a great job at listening to my needs. Getting into any new sport can often be very intimidating, and I have shy’ed away from touring for so many years because it seems like such an elitist cool crew club. Jim has done a great job at opening that door for me, and I am so excited to get out there and try it out!!
I just started ski touring 3 seasons and this was my third new boot in a row. First one the fit was too narrow and I couldn't get comfortable all season. 2 seasons ago, I tried a boot that fit better but still wasn't performing like I wanted it to (I grew up alpine skiing). Last season I read a lot about this boot and tried it on. I tried this on at cripple creek in Avon and was blown away! It fit great (even perfect after heat molding), had a nice toebox fit, and the walk mode is incredible!!! Thanks Cripple Creek!
