Why We Like the Weston Switchback Splitboard

The Weston Switchback splitboard is a workhorse designed to turn the backcountry into a rider's dreamscape. This board's freeride tapered directional shape is similar to the Ridgeline, with 40mm of setback for effortless float in powder. With ample camber underfoot, riders will have an easy time in the skin track and excellent edge control on the ride down.

The Switchback splitboard is a nice 5/10 flex for those looking to hit cruise control on backcountry tours. The longer reverse camber nose with an all-terrain rocker and 40mm setback allows riders to make long, smooth turns in powder and open bowls.

The Spark R&D fixie clips and tip & tail clips are easy to use for transitioning this splitboard from walk mode to ride mode. Whether you are buying this for your first splitboard or your next splitboard, the Weston Switchback is a proven freeride shape that lets riders stay in control on any terrain.

Finally got a splitboard and I love the switchback. I was hesitant about performance of a splitboard but the technology seems to have advanced a lot in the last few years. The medium flex is perfect for what I do - everything that comes at me because I'm a weekend warrior. Had a few cold days last season and my trusty Weston handled the frozen mank really well. Pow days are obviously great as well. Realistically I only get 10 or so BC days a season and so the price was also right. Hard to find another board this good at a good price!
