Tech Specs

The Atomic Backland 100 Alpine Touring Ski is a fast, light, and capable option in all conditions. Lightweight yet bomber construction with carbon reinforcements gives the Backland 100 ample performance on the skintrack, as well as the way back down. If versatility and dependability are the priorities you seek in a ski, the Atomic Backland delivers.

A substantial part of the Backland 100’s appeal is its adaptability throughout a wide range of snow consistencies. In cruddy, inconsistent snow and hardpack, a full-length carbon stringer behaves like a backbone, creating a snappy, agile ride with a ton of edge hold and resistance to deflection. HRZN Tech in the shovel creates a “boat-hull” shape, keeping the ski smooth and hook-free in softer conditions. A smooth and round flex pattern means the Backland 100 will appeal to athletic intermediate through expert ski tourers.
