This boot comes in at a 100 Flex, perfect for the skiers who are looking for a bit more forgiveness from their ski boots, but is still stiff enough you can use it in the new age alpine bindings that will accommodate a rocker sole.
The ski/walk mode mechanism on this boot is taken directly from the Atomic Backland boot line. It allows for a quick transition between ski and walk modes and for 54‹¡ of cuff movement for swift movement uphill. The Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD 100 is fit with Dynafit-certified tech inserts for trustworthy performance with your specific touring bindings, and is built with the durable Skywalk WTR soles. The 98mm last is narrower, but the boot liner, shell and cuff can be heat molded to accommodate many different feet. The Grilamid shell can also be punched to fit wider foot types and needed adjustments.

These are my full time resort and backcountry boots, they work extremely well for both disciplines, light, supportive and comfortable with very good control and good range of motion.
