Black Crows Ferox Freebird Skis

Ask a Question
The newest addition to the Freebird line from Black Crows. The Ferox Freebird is a tour built ski for the adventurous powder pursuer. With a 110mm underfoot width, the Ferox will be the perfect tool for handling any powder filled meadow you come across. But the Ferox won't stop there; with a tri-material blend of Poplar/ Paulownia wood and Isocore fiberglass, the Ferox will remain stiff enough for mixed conditions.
A medium classic camber gives the Ferox an increased torsional rigidity to handle deep carving turns and stable control at high speeds. No more feeling chattery on a powder ski when cruising down packed conditions at high speeds. The H-shaped carbon reinforcement also helps improve the lightness of the ski by bringing it down to an even 1,800 gram.  Paired perfectly with Black Crow Climbing skins From Pomoca.
  • Touring ski to take you further, deeper, and higher
  • Tri-material blend of Paulownia/Poplar wood core and Isocore fiberglass with added H-shaped carbon reinforcement
  • Double rocker for excellent pivoting with medium classic camber balancing maneuverability with stability
  • 110mm underfoot makes this ski serious for the deep stuff
  • 21m turning radius gives stability at high speed

Black Crow blowout

My ski suffered a blowout in under one year of use. As much as I love the skis I was let down that black crow wouldn’t replace them under a warranty. Instead I got a 30% discount. Sort of insulting as black crow should have at least offered to sell them to me at cost.

Great selection of gear and honest, timely communication. This is the first time that I've worked with CCB and I'm impressed.
