DPS Pagoda Tour 106 C2 Ski

Ask a Question

Some might call a 106mm waist the "perfect" all mountain size, and the DPS Pagoda Tour 106 C2 might have written the book on it.  DPS has founded a reputation of aerospace grade quality and manufacturing, and the DPS Pagoda Tour 106 C2 ski is no exception- a near perfect all mountain touring ski.

Pagoda, DPS's new full sidewall touring specific layup, stokes the smoothness factor on the classic Wailer 106 shape.  With a brand new C2 chassis, and the new Pagoda technology, the classic is reborn with a perfect balance of a lightly rockered tip and tail with lengthy edge contact.  How do you get such high performance at such a light weight?  DPS concludes that both the selection of materials and how they are layered defines this next level technology.  By integrating 2 layers of different wood, inter-splicing aerospace grade foam, and sandwiching them between brand new proprietary pre-preg carbon laminates, the Pagoda Tour construction does the impossible.  The skis are light on the up without sacrificing fun for the down.

DPS has worked hard in the lab and on mountain to fine-tune optimum geometric ratios for sidecut and flex pattern, and the newly minted 106 reflects the most current blend of smoothness, balance, and power; in an all-mountain, everyday shape designed for mixed snow conditions.

The Pagoda Tour 106 C2 comes in 5 lengths (155cm, 163cm, 171cm, 179cm, 184cm), all with a 19m turn radius.

Great upgrade to my favorite shape.

I always loved my pair of Tour1 Wailer 106 skis but after trying to Pogoada layup it is a serious upgrade. The addition of the sidewall made the ski more durable and I noticed way better edge hold when going fast on harder snow, something that was seriously missing before. Definitely my favorite ski in the quiver.
