The DPS Alchemist Cassiar 95 185cm is a sleek, performance oriented work horse, capable of ripping descents at high speeds while maintaining a stable, fluid feel due to its high quality materials and construction methods. Starting with an aspen wood core and laminated with aero grade carbon fiber, these skis are light enough for big backcountry touring days, but will really shine when you drop in to link up some turns - damp feeling, responsive and capable of driving through variable conditions without hesitation. Powder, hardpack, crud or crust, these skis can manage them all. Overall, very much a performance oriented all-mountain ski that demands more from the user than your average pair of sticks.
Mounted with a pair of Fritschi Tecton 12 bindings to a 311mm boot sole length, these bindings have a solid, well-rounded feature set and performance oriented build. Being a hybrid tech/alpine binding, the user gains all the touring efficiency of a 2-pin tech binding, while having improved boot/binding interface that offers increased power transfer when descending. The binding is DIN-certified due to the 13mm of independent elastic travel in the toe and 9mm of vertical elasticity in the heel. Rounded out with 25mm of boot sole length adjustment and two riser heights + flat for touring ease and efficiency, and you have yourself a Swiss engineered favorite that won't let you down.
Lastly, the Pomoca Climb 2.0 skins are a 70/30 blend of mohair/nylon fiber that offer great glide to grip strength. The Pomoca glue adhesive is known to be extremely reliable and long-lasting, making these skins a favorite of those seeking no-hassle gliding when touring.
This demo setup has seen very little use, probably a half dozen uses. The ski topsheets and bases are in like-new condition. Same goes for the bindings and skins.
Mounted for a boot sole length of approximately 276-306mm.
