DPS Pagoda Piste 100 C2 Ski
The DPS Pagoda Piste 100 C2 Ski is the widest selection in the Pagoda Piste series. Does size matter? Well, it certainly helps with flotation for those deeper days in soft snow. But don't get it twisted: this ski will still produce smiles once that early morning powder has turned into afternoon chop. The 100 C2 blends a wider waist with the C2 chassis to produce a stable, directional ski. It will maintain a turn whether the snow is deep, mush, or bullet-hard. This would be a great choice if you want a ski that can handle high-speeds, can be used all season, and can make smiles no matter the conditions.
What's inside a Pagoda Piste ski? The ski starts with a core of two hardwoods (Ash and Aspen) with varying densities and grain orientations. The wood combination maximizes energy feedback in the ski without the addition of metal. The wood core is then layered both above and below with pre-preg (this means that the carbon fiber is pre-impregnated with resin to create more uniform properties and performance) full laminate carbon fiber. The addition of carbon fiber gives the ski an extreme level of liveliness and energy. To counter the 'chatter' that comes with carbon fiber, DPS added a new full wrap PU sidewall that helps dampen the ski and absorb vibration. This full wrap sidewall also greatly contributes to the durability of the Pagoda Piste skis. The final product of this ski manufacturing masterpiece is a stable, energetic construction. With the DPS Pagoda Piste 100 C2, you will feel like a symphony composer. But making a balanced harmony of ski turns instead of boring old music sounds.
The C2 shape requests respect and in return returns the zenith of on resort skiing experience. DPS has two color options for each of the Pagoda Piste line. The 100 C2 comes in Red and Pinot (like Pinot Noir), and six lengths ranging from 157 cm to 189 cm.
