The Yvette shpe in it's previous constructions has been one of the most progressive, versatile and powerful women's powder skis out there. As your skiing takes you more into the backcountry, you may have found yourself dreaming for the same shape in a lighter weight package. Apparently you and DPS share similar dreams.
One of the 2017 Dreamtime Powderworks projects this year is the Yvette 112 in the Tour1 construction. The shape is well known by now. Paddle tech rockered tips and tail plane and smear through bottomless powder. Camber underfoot and a tight turn radius makes for quick turns in trees and grippy high speed turns on hardpack. At 112mm underfoot, you're still surfing and able to make playful turns on the deepest of days.
The Tour1 construction of this Dreamtime edition is the real kicker. DPS shaves substantial weight to ensure that you have the legs for taking advantage of these ripping powder boards throughout big touring days. A lightweight wood core is layered with baron stringers and wrapped in a capped construction. The Tour1 construction retains that legendary DPS torsional stiffness and edge grip, while being ultra maneuverable and buttery in the turn, and feathery light on the skin track.
This is an ideal ski for the ladies who primarily tour for powder, and want the weight to get in multiple laps and/or far away pow stashes.
