Hibiscus pink, but rips like all black. This is the Dynafit ski for the ladies who get after it on the down. A large scoop rockered tip makes this ski float like a dream and eases turn initiation. The camber underfoot keeps the ski powerful on firmer snow and gives it some grip on the skin track. Carbon core ride tip reduces swing weight which makes the women's Beast 98 easier to turn in tight trees and chutes. The ride tip also eliminates the annoying tip chatter and flop found in some rockered skis. Furthermore, the 98 has a full length sidewall for edge hold and dampening in crud. Starting to get the picture? This ski is meant for skiing.
The Beast 98 Women's edition has specifically milled out portions in the Ash-Poplar core to create a more appropriate flex for the lighter skier. This allows Dynafit to use the same solid materials and shape as the men's ski, but give it more feel and flex throughout the turn shape. An impressive 250 grams are removed per ski versus the previous rendition of this ski (the Sphinx) to save the legs a little more for the down. Dynafit's standard tip notch and metal tail for the precut skin make for solid and simple skin attachments with the pre cut skins. Think skis from uphill brands are all chattery? Pick up this pink gem and be ready to be impressed.
