Finally we have a brand recognizing the need for a resort fitness specific line that gets you up the hill in lightweight fashion without breaking the bank. Of course, it's the snow kitties, and they nailed it. The Speedfit 84 is ideal for those who get their exercise during the winter by spending their early mornings and/or afterwork hours skinning on the local resort. The Ash-Poplar ride core and full length micro-sidewalls provide excellent dampening characteristics for those refreeze evenings or early spring mornings that you couldn't find courtesy groom to hop on for the descent.
This is a slightly beefier construction (read better downhill performance) than the speed and race lines. Therefore, the Speedfit 84 will also do quite well if you go for one uphill lap but decide to ski chair for awhile afterwards. The 84 mm waist and 19ish meter side cut perform well on piste and in the moguls. The 115mm tip width with around 280mm's of rocker will keep the tips up in powder.
This is still a Dynafit, and wants to go uphill. At around 1300 grams, give or take a few based on length, the Speedfit 84 is light. Dynafit's patented and time tested alloy tip and tail ski attachment system with the tip notch makes for simple and reliable skin attachment. Grab a pair of these and we will see you on the hill for training days!
