All new for the 2020 season, the Pure 10 touring binding from Hagan, offers the performance and reliability Hagan is known for in a lightweight package. Weighing in at an impressive 280 grams including brakes, adjustment track, and crampon adapter- this binding falls squarely in the ski-mountaineering category. Modeled off the Core 12, Hagan took what we loved about that binding but stripped it down to make it even more uphill friendly. Instead of 5 climbing positions, the Pure 10 features a singular heel flap for three different heights. The heel adjustment plate is also lighter and narrower.
Easy toe entry makes transitions a breeze in the backcountry and integrated crampon hooks ensure you can climb up the iciest of slopes with ease. When it comes time to ski, enjoy an extremely solid boot/ski connection, precise release and no torsional movement. All of this means you have an extremely efficient transition of power from boot to ski and as a result- a fabulous feeling descent. Get on a pair of Hagan bindings and enjoy their durability, performance, ease of use, and value.
