I took my new split board out for the first time this past weekend and it was great. Much easier than expected to assemble/transition to skis in the field. Made about a 2 mile roundtrip trek into the terrain at Bluebird Backcountry and this board performed well during the skinning as well as the downhill. Would recommend.
This board is the ultimate hut trip board, light, quick and playful. The Mind Expander floats and planes in the shallowest slope angles and turns quickly for its width. This board can wiggle super tight trees and handle the deepest of snow with mind control like response. This boards only drawback is how it handles steep hard snow. This is not an extreme machine, but a super fun and playful powder board that loves to hit jumps and pillow lines.
