The Movement Alp Tracks 100 is the goldilocks of the Alp Tracks LTD series with its 'not too slender, not too wide' waist width of 100mm. We consider the 100 the 'all-season' shape of the series. At a striking weight of 1245g (177 cm), these skis might be the absolute zenith when measuring a skis performance-to-weight ratio. They perform as well as skis 1.5x its weight, but feel like a pair of on-resort fitness skis when touring uphill. The ski is a Swiss-made handmade mix of ultralight Karuba core, proprietary carbon fiber layup, PTEX-5000 bases, and underfoot ABS shock absorbers (and much more of course). It has a rockered tip and tail with camber underfoot, which produces an easy-skiing profile. The shape features a quietly shoveled tip, medium turning radius, and flat tails. Long story short, if you are serious about backcountry travel and harvesting miles of untouched powder throughout the season regardless of the terrain, you would consider strapping into the Alp Tracks 100.
