Ortovox 3+ Avalanche Rescue Kit

The all-new AVALANCHE RESCUE KIT 3+ combines all the ORTOVOX rescue products into one set- the 3+ Avalanche Tranciever, Badger Aluminum Shovel, the ALU 240 Avalanche Probe, and the Safety Academy Guide book. 

3+ Avalanche Transceiver

Using patented SMART ANTENNA TECHNOLOGY with intelligent position detection, the 3+ automatically switches to the best transmission antenna so that buried victims are easier to find. The beacon features an illuminated real-time display to provide information about direction, distance and number of victims buried to leave no room for doubt when pinpointing victims. Once located, victims can be flagged in the display. The movement-sensor-based secondary avalanche switchover offers additional safety.

Badger Avalanche Shovel

The Badger is a super lightweight aluminum shovel with an ergonomic, hybrid grip for maximum power transmission. With a volume of 2.5 liters, this shovel is backed up by robust design, pronounced center ridge and high side walls for full rigidity. 

ALU 240 Avalanche Probe

All of the features with none of the fluff: the ALU 240 is reduced to the essentials with a quick-lock assembly system that allows for quick and simple set up and breakdown, as well as adjustable tension. The probe also features a slightly larger tip to ensure improved penetration.
