Scarpa Maestrale Alpine Touring Boot

Size: 25

Year after year the Maestrale Alpine Touring Boot from Scarpa continues to deliver the goods. We’ve been relying on this boot for over 10 years and we could not be more excited about the newest improvements for the 2021/22 season. Scarpa worked tirelessly to develop the new Lambda Frame Shell and Thor Cuff that is composed of ECO friendly Pebax Rnew plastic. It is bi-injected with two different stiffnesses of Pebax for greater all-around performance.

While we are beyond stoked about the upgrades to Scarpa’s best-selling touring boot, we are equally excited about what they didn’t change. 60 degrees of frictionless articulation and a lightweight construction means you will have no problem getting deep into the backcountry. If conditions in the backcountry aren’t stable, and you want to lap the resort, the Maestrale can handle that too. With a wave closure forefoot buckle and a heel locking ankle strap, the Maestrale offers incredible power transmission allowing you to drive a big powerful ski. The bottom line is if you are looking for a versatile, comfortable, and proven ski touring boot then you don’t need to look any farther.

Perfect boot

Have to thank the CCB peeps at Highlands for helping me get this boot dialed in with a few tweaks. The ankle buckle keeps my heel locked down like Ghislaine Maxwell’s prison sentence. Good articulation for the up, and skis great whether hotdogging, in full pizza or pinning it French fry style.

Because of my messed up shoulder I won't be able to test out the gear for another 2 months. I'll be happy to give a review when I'm able to check it out.
