Voile UltraVector Touring Ski
The SLC hometown heroes and backcountry gear purveyors at Voile have a new concoction. The new UltraVector utilizes the do it all mid 90's waist of the Vector, with a slightly softened flex and a quicker turn radius. This makes the UltraVector super nimble in tight spots such as dense trees or rocky chutes. A rockered tip and early rise tail keep the ski afloat and pivoting, while camber underfoot glues you to both the skin track and the firmer conditions you'll encounter throughout the season.
The Aspen/Carbon core and mild front rocker make the vector a truly do it all ski. Rarely do we see Skis built from more damp woods such as Aspen come in at this weight. And let's be real, you spend 95% of your time going up, 3% eating a bar and high five-ing, and 1% getting what you came for. The sub 1500 gram mark puts this ski fully in the light category.
Match the UltraVector with a lighter touring oriented boot and this becomes as close to a quiver of one as you'll find. For those that prefer a bigger boot, bigger ski for pow days, and higher speeds, size the Ultra vector up for a ripping spring ski.

I have a pair of177 BC’s and love them for ski area skiing but felt like I was wasting the fish scale. So I got the longer UltraVectors 184. What a great all around ski. They are stiff and fast tuning cut though all challenging surfaces.
