The Ortovox Focus Voice is the new-generation voice-guided avalanche transceiver, replacing the Diract Voice with a longer effective range. It keeps the feature that made the Diract distinctive: spoken instructions that guide a searcher through signal search, coarse search, and fine search, so more attention stays on the snow surface instead of on a screen. Smart-Antenna Technology™ analyses how the unit is lying in the debris and switches to the best transmit antenna, and a large full-graphic display holds steady readings from first acquisition. Victim flagging handles multiple burials, and secondary avalanche protection reverts the device to transmit after a period without movement. Rechargeable lithium-ion battery with USB-C charging, app-updatable firmware, and a RECCO® reflector in the unisex carrying harness.
