Warehouse manager

Behind-the-Scenes Operations Lead
Pay Range: $28–$35/hr

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day logistics that keep our stores and customers running smoothly. This role manages inbound and outbound inventory, inter-store transfers, and warranty processing while leading a small warehouse team. It’s ideal for someone who loves bikes and skis, thrives on organization, and prefers solving problems behind the scenes rather than on the sales floor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all shipping and receiving of product across multiple locations
• Manage and execute inter-store transfers, including packing, labeling, and documentation
• Drive inventory transfers between stores and warehouse locations as needed
• Oversee and process vendor and manufacturer warranty claims, ensuring timely resolution
• Maintain accurate inventory organization and warehouse layout
• Coordinate closely with store managers and service departments

QUALIFICATIONS
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Strong initiative and problem-solving mindset
Valid driver’s license and comfort driving company vehicles
Familiarity with bikes, skis, and outdoor equipment (or a strong desire to learn)
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Warehouse Associate

Logistics & Inventory Support
Pay Range: $21–$25/hr


The Warehouse Associate supports the flow of inventory between our warehouse and retail locations. This role focuses on shipping, receiving, transfers, and warranty processing, helping ensure products move accurately and efficiently across the business. It’s ideal for someone who loves bikes and skiing, is highly organized, and prefers hands-on, behind-the-scenes work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, check in, and organize incoming inventory

• Pack and ship customer orders and inter-store transfers

• Drive inventory transfers between locations as needed

• Assist with processing and tracking warranty claims

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse

• Identify inventory issues and suggest process improvements

• Support store and service teams with timely, accurate fulfillment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative

• Comfortable with physical work and moving inventory

• Valid driver’s license preferred

• Interest in biking, skiing, and outdoor gear

• Warehouse or logistics experience a plus, but not required

Bike Mechanic

Pay - $22-$30+/hr

Locations: Carbondale, Basalt, Avon, Silverthorne

If so, this could be the perfect job for you. We are looking to hire experienced bike mechanics who are looking to work on e-bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes, and gravel bikes. We are the premier bike shop in the Aspen Valley, looking for motivated individuals to join our team.

At Basalt Bike and Ski and Cripple Creek Backcountry, we crank year-round to get people into the mountains on the gear we all love. The Roaring Fork Valley is a passionate mountain community and nowhere is that more apparent than in our company. With immediate trail and access right outside the shop, morning meetups, lunch rides and after work epics are all possible as we work on some of the coolest bikes in the business. 

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a bike mechanic and knowledge of bicycles 
  • Must possess the capability to work autonomously, effectively manage priorities, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and exhibit attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates the capacity to adapt and learn quickly in a dynamic work environment.
  • Complete knowledge of modern bikes (E-Bikes, Road, Mountain, Gravel)
  • Ski Tech experience is a plus, however not required. Needs to be willing to learn ski/board services (tunes and repairs)
  • Open-minded with strong communication skills
  • Able to work with customers in a friendly and informative manner regardless of their experience/knowledge 
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able and willing to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to be on your feet for a prolonged period of time
  • Full-time employment is 32+ hours a week and includes being able to work some weekends and holidays.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor that aligns with company standards.

Essential Job Functions

  • Handle service work proficiently by accurately processing service work orders, scheduling repairs appropriately, and ensuring timely completion of repairs.
  • Complete tunes and repairs in a timely manner according to deadlines set with customers and management to perform tunes, wheel trues, brake bleeds, fork service and complete bike builds
  • Offer unbiased advice and guidance to customers regarding product selection.
  • Stay updated on all merchandise within the department to provide customers with accurate information and assistance, continuously developing expertise.
