The Dynafit Rotation 10 is the alpine touring binding we quickly point to when customers are looking for a tech-binding that will safely charge down the resort all day with confidence and tour uphill well for front-side exercise and backcountry skiing.  We have watched countless bindings presented at the shows and hyped as the “greatest binding ever!” Well time really does separate the fakers and the makers and this binding has lived up to its hype and stood the test of time. One of the most durable bindings we sell by far.  This thing is a workhorse!

Let’s start with the easy to step into toe piece, that has a unique lateral swivel that enables safer releasability, complete with the first tech-binding TUV safety certification. This swivel also gives it slight dynamic movement while skiing, to reduce “pre-releasing” that can be common in “tech” bindings when wailing turns on bigger skis and firmer snow.  The heel is forged aluminum that is integrated directly into the plastic housing, incorporating the easiest to use three position riser system we have used.

The Rotation 10 also has one of the best integrated ski brakes available for tech bindings in terms of ease of use and durability. Weighing in at 599 grams, the ST Rotation 10 has a DIN release value setting from 4-10.  Think ST Rotation when looking for a safer, rock solid performer that can stomp cliff jumps, ski at top speeds and yes even ski bumps....oh and did we mention durability?

Just 2 days hard skiing

Just got the rig. Only 2 days of hard skiing at an area, to try them out. The first day was soft chopped and the second was harder. Voile Superchargers loved to carve on edge, very fast. Binding’s were solid, I had lots of confidence in them even in bumps on day two’s harder snow.

Background: I did use these Dynafit ST Rotation 10’s on a 3 day hut trip this past winter on some rentals as I’m transitioning from 30 years of Telly to AT due to aging knees/body. They were intuitive, solid and comforting. So nice to climb with! Amazing the difference. With these bindings I’ll be able to continue skinning and skiing around in the woods during winter.

I’ll get my new skins on for some spring skiing during the next couple of months and update.

Oh, CCBC staff was awesome with this online purchase of skis and bindings, mounting too.

Great binding

I used this binding on a spring hut trip in mixed conditions and the binding performed well on not so great snow.

Dynafit ST Rotation Alpine Touring Binding

Cripple Creek recommended these bindings based on my planned use. I skied two days in the resort right after mounting because I was skiing with friends. I was curious how these would handle bumps and mixed terrain and they performed fantastically as an alpine binding with my hybrid Lange boots. My ski came off once when it should have after catching a tree root. I look forward to touring with this setup soon.

Rotation Binding

Awesome service ! This is my second pair of Rotation's, they work very similar to most Alpine Downhill Bindings. I've ripped bumps down the banana and peel at CB and foreran Super G race courses with these and they never let me down. I really don't know why anyone who wants the option to Tour, or just get into more remote places would ever go back to a normal alpine binding (unless they were skiing huge big mountain lines at high speeds or taking huge air in the park). They have released when they should and stayed on when they should.

takes awhile to get used to..

I’m new to AT equipment. I like the bindings- but they take some time to get used to. They seem solid, but I don’t love them

As soon as we get some snow, I will check them out.

Bro-tation 10

They should call the Rotation 10 the "Bro-tation 10" because this binding is my new brother in the backcountry. It's like having my family out there with me, keeping me safe, and enjoying the ride while I rip sick turns in the BC. Safe toe release (unique to this binding over any other binding) and a bomber heel makes this a great BC Freeride binding at a decent weight. Super user friendly as well!
