The Blue Ice Harfang Alpine Crampon is a compact, technical 12-point crampon designed for terrain with ice or mixed conditions. Suitable for technical alpine climbing and mountaineering, this crampon blends durability, compactness, and weight. The Harfang Alpine has a Chromoly steel front and rear rail with an anti-balling system that prevents snow buildup. This crampon fits any boot with a heel welt and includes two interchangeable front bail systems, including a fully automatic toe bail and a semi-automatic toe basket. There are three sets of holes for a wide range of bail adjustments, and the front rail is asymmetrical to optimize performance. The central main textile strap connecting the front and back rails makes the Harfang line one of the most compact crampon designs on the market.
