  • Description

Built for the rider who wants the feel of their resort binding when they're deep in the backcountry, the Nitro Vertical Splitbinding is an easy choice. Built on Spark R&D's Tesla T1 baselate, the Vertical was made with the splitboard explorer in mind. Efficiency on the way up and in transitions, unparalleled feel on the way down, built with components focused on durability - you can be confident in your connection to your board in these bindings!

    Tech Specs

The Nitro Vertical splitboard binding combines the ease of use and efficiency of Spark R&D's Tesla T1 platform with the robust and uncompromising feel of a downhill Nitro binding. Reinforced cable connectors and ladders, First Track ankle straps, Vibram EcoStep Übergrip toe straps, and reinforced cables in the ratchet ladders. Basically, it's impossible to break to snap a ladder strap. The Vibram rubber toe strap also grabs the boot and prevents slippage. The Vertical provides unmatched comfort, support, and responsiveness on the way down.

The Vertical Splitbinding is paired with a stiff highback like the Spark Surge bindings but uses the lighter-weight Arc base plate with EVA foam pad. This gives riders more comfort riding when charging harder by reducing foot fatigue. We love the extra durability built into the Nitro version of the Spark Bindings. They are the answer for light yet performance-driven splitboard bindings.

Pair your Nitro Vertical Splitbindings with the Spark R&D canted pucks if you like a wider stance or prefer to leave the snow when hitting the pillows and transitions. It is also compatible with the Spark R&D regular pucks, which are typically easier to deal with when transitioning from walk to ride mode.
