Salomon/Atomic Shift Crampons

Great gear, easy to use. Customer service was amazing as well, was able to get expedited shipping.

Takes some dexterity to get on and off, but otherwise we'll designed

These work great with my Salomon Shift bindings. I can slide them on while on one knee without having to take off my skis.

have not fit them yet.
I have ripstick 172 96 & I have Ripstick 172 106 to try them on. shoud be fine on the one pair..

will see about the 106 pair but it will be three weeks before first chance

I had the opportunity to go up a volcano on a day when I knew there would be ice. My shift bindings only accept the Solomon/Atomic Shift Crampons (as far as I know) and I couldn't find them anywhere in my home town.. or online, except from Cripple Creek. When I called the store they were very helpful and assured me they could get them shipped that night. They arrived the day before my climb and were very helpful the last 2,000 ft of the ascent. I was super glad to have them and super glad to have discovered Cripple Creek.

These crampons have been quite helpful on CA spring tours. They've worked great in a variety of conditions, from smooth wind-blown faces to slippery slush. They were a bit stiff going into the binding (Salomon Shift) the first couple times, but became easier after a couple uses. I got the 100 mm for 97 mm skis and they fit great. My partner got the 120 mm for 106 mm skis and they fit surprisingly well; he doesn't notice the extra width while we're touring. Ordering from Cripple Creek was simple and the shipping was quick. Glad I decided to purchase from this shop!

I asked Doug whether 100mm crampons would fit 103mm under foot. I didn't know the exact ski because I was asking for a friend. Doug went and tried the crampons on skis with 102, 103, 105 and 107mm under foot to confirm the crampons would fit 103mm skis.
