Like all Body Geometry shoes, the Recon 2.0 is ergonomically designed and scientifically validated to enhance comfort, boost performance, and reduce the risk of injury for all riders. The patented technology increases power output by 7 watts—backed by scientific research.

Stride technology features a flexible outsole and upper around the toe box, paired with a stiff cleat pocket. This design allows the shoe to flex easily when walking while remaining stiff and efficient during pedaling.

The Recon 2.0 is equipped with a Li2 BOA® Dial for on-the-fly adjustability, making it easy to get in and out of the shoe. The BOA® soft lace, made from Dyneema yarn, eliminates the need for hard molded guides, resulting in a more comfortable fit. A forefoot strap positioned above the toes allows riders to adjust the shoe's volume to suit their unique foot shape, ensuring a secure connection to the bike and instilling confidence when tackling new features or navigating loose, technical gravel.
