The Dynafit ULTRA 100 Women's Shoe is made for ladies that like to run really far. The soft mid sole has superior damping characteristics, which means greater comfort even after many hours and miles on the trail. The POMOCA out sole is ideal for varied terrain and delivers grip that you can rely on, even in wet conditions. The Heel Proloader provides excellent support for your ankle and heel. Laces can be stowed under the practical stretch mesh panel, keeping them protected and ensuring that they don't loosen miles into the mission. This shoe has a drop of 6mm. If you use terms like "half day" and "full day" when discussing running times, the Ultra 100 Women's shoe is for you!

Awesome grip and support for technical terrain. Overall my best shoe!
The Dynafit Ultra is a great supportive & well cushioned trail shoe for longer runs in the mountains. It's my go to for longer days that include more "runable" terrain. Although it does really well on most surfaces (mud, dirt, rock, scree, etc.), I would go for the Dynafit Alpine if doing more technical terrain. The cushioning and drop on the Ultra make it comfortable for more mileage but can throw off the balance a little in very technical terrain. The mesh on the toe is great for getting the laces out of the way. They are a little slow to dry if you will be in very wet conditions, however I ran for 6 hours in the "stay fast" Dynafit socks & Dynafit Ultras and had no blisters :)
I've been running in the Ultra 100 for 2 years now and may never go back to anything else. Absolutely love these shoes!! From buffed out trails, to rugged scrambles, these shoes handle it all with grace, speed and comfort. The grip is incredible without being so aggressive that smooth trails aren't comfortable. I don't know how Dynafit nailed the combo of cushion and response, but they did. These are my go-to race shoes, long run shoes, and every day shoe! I'll grab the Dynafit Alpine often, but even they can't beat this shoe.
Note that Dynafit runs small. I ordered a full size up and they fit perfect!
The Ultra 100 has been amazing all summer long. From short trail runs (30-60 minutes) to all day adventures, I find myself always picking up this shoe. The sole is super grippy and I can never feel rocks under my feet, but they don't feel bulky on smooth dirt roads. I love that the laces can be tucked away so I'm never stopping to tie my shoes. I have a slightly wider foot and tend to buy shoes with a larger toe box, these shoes are wide enough but I don't feel like my foot is ever moving around. I can't say enough good things about these shoes. Dynafit nails it again!
Okay, I recently raved about the Dynafit Alpine, and these shoes are equal if not even a hair above my love for the Alpine. I recently ran a very rugged 60k in these with multiple stream crossings, and lots of technical rocky trail. My feet were comfortable ALL DAY LONG!!! Usually at the end of a long ultra my feet are achy, but not with these! I also had superior grip to nearly everyone out there. These are well-cushioned, but still feel light and nimble, a nearly impossible combo. I don't feel clunky or awkward in these. I feel free, fast, comfy and excited. GET THESE SHOES.
I have been trail running in these shoes this summer and love them! I have previously run in Altra Lone Peaks and Dynafit Ultra Pros and these are my new favorites. They have great support but also cushion. I have a history of foot pain with longer distance running and am constantly searching for a shoe that eases my foot pain. I am pain free in these shoes. I also love the colors!
