  • Tech Specs

After years of the Outlaw X taking the frontline for NTN, 22 Designs releases it's bomber, in-bounds-only version for the Hard Chargers. Featuring all the same great aspects of the Outlaw X, the Bandit comes standard with a full steel under-plate for added stability and durability. The biggest advantage is the shortened nose and elimination of a tour mode, which adds exceptional durability and significantly reduces bending or cracking seen on older versions of telemark bindings.

The Bandit now comes standard with a fully retractable brake. This is something the Tele world has been asking for for years. You will no longer have the notion in the back of your head as to whether or not you will clip your brakes in a deep turn.

    22D Bandit Mounting

CC did a fine job fulfilling long backorder. Bandit skis just like Outlaw X which is what I wanted. Slightly easier step in. Brakes retract now. But be very careful mounting. https://www.backcountrytalk.com/forum/bc-talk/backside-bar-grill/136475-bandit-mounting-be-careful-with-brake-insert

    The Brakes Work

If you loved the Outlaw X, but felt silly having a touring mode on you resort groomer skis and were annoyed by the brake arms dragging on the snow when you’re trying to perfect your high edge-angle carved turns, these are the bindings for you. The brakes tuck in! Easiest NTN step-in! No tour mode slop! They changed the shape of the toe cage slightly, and find that they do chew up the toes of my boots in a way the Outlaw X didn’t, but YMMV.
