The Women's F1 LT is the perfect blend of Alien RS and F1.  Scarpa brilliantly blends the carbon-infused Grilamid lower from the Alien RS and combines is with the F1's cuff buckle and spring-actuated ski/walk mechanism. These components make this a more durable and robust boot.  Lighter than the F1 and added stiffness makes this boot a fan favorite.  The thinner upper booster strap is optional for those who want a smidge more power higher in the boot.  Attach the rear spoiler to the liner more forward lean. The lower shell is the same mold as the Alien RS, however, the footbed now sits lower in the shell. This lowering of the footbed will provide the boot with better handling and increase the last by 1 or 2 millimeters (100mm last). The final design change for the Women's F1 LT [from the Alien RS] is a web of ridges added to the shorter cuff for improved rigidity. That's a slew of significant improvements for a more robust, more downhill-oriented ski boot and all clocking in at 970 grams!

The Women's F1 LT (Light and Tough!) is a perfect boot for the expert backcountry skier who wants to ski more, and more, and more after that. This boot won't hold you back with a 72° range of motion and sub-kilo construction (930 grams).  Transition to ski down and continue to be impressed with the rigidity that comes from Scarpa's carbon-infused Grilamid makeup (both shell and cuff). The BOA closure system micro-adjusts to provide precise fitting on your forefoot. The upper cuff strap buckle [plus booster strap] lock your ankle into an aggressive skiing position for confidence-inspiring downhill performance.  Congratulations Scarpa for creating a touring boot that pushes the development of fast and light skiing one step forward. Now grab a pair of these Italian masterpieces and go ski your dream lines with ease, then more after that.

Took the boots out for a spin yesterday (2200ft elevation) and they feel great. No blisters. In the store i was worried that i need more toe room, but it seems that i don't need it. Actually, i feel that i could even fit a medium thickness sock inside. A little bit of rubbing on R upper shin, but likely due to user error, no blister or sign on my shin. I'm a happy customer. Thank you, Charlie!

One of the best lighter touring boots

I was looking for a light two buckle boot for a week long hut trip, while still being able to ski well. These worked great for me on the hut trip and now are my daily driver boots. The weight of course is a huge benefit over a crossover style boot. While not a progressive flex, I still get enough stiffness when I drive the front of the boot and was enough for my Volkl Blaze 94. Other lighter boots in this category did not give me that resistance in the front. I initially tried this boot without any molding, eventually I needed to mold them with a toe cap to give my toes some room. I went down a shell size in this boot. The team at CCBC Denver was great!

    I love these boots!

My AT boot buying drama ended promptly after heading into Cripple Creek in Avon. Hayes listened to the saga and worked his magic and found me the perfect boot. Thanks a million!
