No Problem Installing, This new product design is so much better than the original stainless steel version.
The original lockers tabs snapped of within a few seasons.
The new design does have very small stainless screws that attach the base plate to the "T" that engages the base of the binding. Would be really great if the 2 parts were not screwed together but machined from a aluminum block. The tiny screws are a bit suspect but time will tell. Otherwise a much needed design upgrade from the original.
Work very well, just had to ski 6 miles today out of a hut because the snow was to deep and not steep enough to snowboard.
I can't say that they are straight forward yet! I have spark r&d hitchhiker bindings and it seems there is just a narrow bit of plastic restricting free slide of the locking piece.
Great product, easy install. Will be hugely helpful touring.
