The Dynafit DNA is a true ski mountaineering race boot designed with one goal: getting to the top faster. Weighing approximately 810 grams per boot, it pairs an ultralight carbon cuff with an efficient walk mode and Dynafit's Race Lock transition system to maximize uphill speed while providing enough downhill performance for race skis and fast traverses.

If your priority is all-day comfort or driving wide skis in variable snow, this isn't the right tool. But if you're counting grams, chasing vertical, or lining up at skimo races in Colorado, few boots climb as efficiently.

lthough Dynafit lists the DNA at a 99 mm last, it fits noticeably lower in volume than many touring boots with similar published widths. Skiers with a narrow heel, lower instep, and lower-volume forefoot will generally have the best experience.

The minimalist liner is designed for racing, not luxury. Expect a close, precise fit with very little extra padding. Because there isn't much liner material to compress, shell fit becomes especially important. If you're between sizes, we recommend working from shell fit first rather than automatically sizing up.

This boot can be modified, but it doesn't offer the boot-fitting flexibility of heavier Grilamid touring boots like the Zero G Tour Pro.
