This is a great ski helmet that is ACTUALLY certified as a ski helmet. You're climbing helmet isn't certified for the impact of a ski style crash, it's designed for rock fall. So grab one of these bad boys and feel legitimately safe while out touring. The liner is removable if you like to ski with a beanie under your helmet (me). The full coverage paired with a large framed goggle feels like stepping inside during a cold, stormy day. The adjustability is nice and easy to change on the fly. It's so lightweight and breathable that I often keep it one while touring uphill if doing shorter laps. Big fan. Grab this helmet to prevent cracking your egg.

Light and easy to swap out the inside net/foam options. Sits nicely over a visor/hat for touring. Just what I was looking for.

This is the third Salomon MTN LAB helmet I've owned -- through a combination of crashes and falling off my pack on the mountain, I've needed to replace it more than I should. It's a comfortable all-day helmet, I don't even feel the need to take it off at breaks -- which is unusual, usually wearing helmets is super itchy for me. Highly recommend.
