The Black Diamond Compactor Ski Poles are the ideal poles for splitboarding or ski mountaineering. This is a four segment pole that stores into even your smallest touring pack. FlickLock® Pro adjustment offers up to 20 cm of adjustability and dramatically improved clamping force in a low-profile design, while the Compactor's speed cone deployment allows it to deploy in a matter of seconds.

Black Diamond compactor poles

Honestly, due to medical reasons I have JUST re-started young some skinning. I will use these pokes when start back hiking after more snowmelt here in CO. Sorry cannot rate them at this time!

Fantastic upgrade

I’ve been using these poles for snowshoeing uphill to snowboard down. They were a game changer. Lightweight and strong going uphill. They break down and fit into my pack with ease.

My 3rd set

Being my 3rd set of these should tell you that I like them. They are not the strongest but i appreciate the compactness and range of adjustment. I's prefer full baskets - i don't get the half baskets. What's the point?

They made me feel at least 10 years younger on the first hike

What else can I say? They really helped a flat lander Dona hike that would have really hard.
