Atomic Count AMID Helmet

The Atomic Count AMID helmet employs multiple technologies to improve both comfort and safety for the rider. AMID stands for Atomic Multidirectional Impact Deflector. This acronym means the dual-density foam that Atomic uses provides up to 40% higher impact protection than the UIAA industry standard. It minimizes rotational forces during skier impact, which thus minimizes concussions and head/neck injury. The Count has high density AMID foam on the sides and back (where 85% of impacts tend to occur), and low density foam on the top of the helmet to help reduce weight.
