    The Atomic Backland 98 has long been celebrated for its remarkable versatility and ability to ski in all soft snow conditions. Still, it is time for the Backland FR 101 to take its place with even more versatility and free-ride capabilities. Featuring a slightly increased width and the advanced HRZN Tech 3D Tip, the Backland FR 101 offers incredible powder skiing performance. This design enhancement increases surface area and reduces the tip's mass/weight, facilitating smoother and faster turn initiation.

    The Powder Rocker has been extended to encompass 35% of the ski's total length, which enhances maneuverability and provides confidence when navigating steep and deep snow! Additionally, the Dura Cap Side Wall is engineered to withstand impacts while allowing for optimal weight distribution over the edges, thereby improving edge hold in firmer snow conditions.
