  • Description

The Blizzard Zero G 95 Alpine Touring Ski is a true all-mountain, do-it-all touring ski that will take from powder fields to steep exposed lines with ease. The Paulownia wood core is complemented by Carbon Drive 3.0 reinforcement for a consistent, stable, and gratifyingly fun-to-rip ski that is still light enough to get you up massive climbs. For people looking for a quiver-killing touring ski, the Zero-G 95 is ideal.

    Tech Specs

The Blizzard Zero G 95 Alpine Touring Ski fits into the all-mountain category of touring skis which means it's ideal for handling a wide breadth of snow conditions and missions. The Zero G 95 is built around the new Carbon Drive 3.0 base construction. This takes a traditional Paulownia wood core construction and reinforces it with two uni-directional layers of carbon fiber and fiberglass that wrap the entire ski. This increases the overall stiffness and performance of the ski and adds torsional stiffness for great edge grip.

Additionally, the full-length nature of the Carbon Drive 3.0 gives a consistent flex pattern that's forgiving and easy to ski. This flex pattern is paired with a slightly longer turn radius meaning you'll get a more consistent turn initiation and avoid catching an edge. The ski is further reinforced with Titanal and carbon plates in the mounting zone to increase binding retention. Year after year, the Zero G 95 has been one of our gotos for a single quiver touring ski, so if you are looking for one ski to do it and do it all in style, the Zero G 95 is for you.

    Charger and Soooo Light!!!

Great skies! Came into these from Voile V8's w/ heavier bindings -- so am shocked on how light the zero g's are. Just awesome on the uphill and traversing!!! Skied in mixed conditions last week. Ski definitely shines for hard charging as would expect w/ 95 underfoot. Could feel the lightness and narrowness in even smaller amounts of "heavier" CO powder - they would wobble a bit side to side and they don't like being back seated. Used at the resort for a day and charge so well for how light they are on groomers for example. Highly recommend but if there is much fresh snow, they are a bit of work (but as expected with 95 underfoot and not much rise in tails). Thanks! Cripple Creek was great to work with!!!

    Nice light ski

Paired these with Salomon MTN bindings. Light on the up and ski pretty well on the down. A great springtime setup.

    Great Service

The folks at Cripple Creek set me up with a great pair of Blizzard Zero G 95s on short notice. I have been looking for a shop that caters to the high volume backcountry skier and I finally found it. I can highly recommend their services. Thank you! jR
