Weston Ridgeline Splitboard (2023)

The Ridgeline splitboard is my daily driver for hard charging riding in the hills. It has the ultra-responsive characteristics of a stiff board, and can handle really any snow conditions at speed without bucking the rider off balance. Camber underfoot locks things in on steeper terrain, and for such a stiff board, it’s remarkably maneuverable in narrow terrain or tight trees. The rockered nose lets the board perform like a pow board when it’s deep, and it feels like you’re surfing weightless when you open this thing up in soft snow. This is the board for folks who want a quiver of one, but prefer a stiff and hard charging platform that can show up for days in the trees and for outings in the high peaks.

If you're gonna have a single splitboard in your quiver, this is the one! Such a high quality all arounder. I use this board primarily when I'm heli guiding in AK & splitboard guiding in WA, & based on the huge vertical relief we experience in these places, it's important to have a board that can handle changing & variable conditions. This is where the Ridgeline shines most. Because of its slightly directional shape yet not huge sidecut, it handles really well in variable conditions, especially wind & melt freeze crusts. If you're looking for a durable & consistent all arounder or single board quiver for big lines, this is the board to choose!

The first day I took the Weston Ridgeline splitboard (158) out on a moderately deep pow day, I was pleasantly surprised by the ability to carve through the white crystals while maintaining stability from edge to edge. With a bit of speed, I feel like I don't get as bogged down as with other all-mountain boards through a variety of pow.

When it comes to Colorado's steeps, whether it's fresh pow or firm and chattery, this board gives me more confidence than any other deck in my quiver. It skins great on the skintrack and holds up well as a rockboard for early season shark hits.

I'm not going to bore you with the details of the board layup, but the mix of poplar, paulownia, and bamboo provides that great balance between weight and dampening and comes out to a very practical mid-stiff flex.

If it's Japan-deep and you're looking to get as much float as possible, just get a Japow. In every other scenario - this is an excellent daily driver. The Weston Ridgeline splitboard slays.

I have ridden a lot of splitboards and this board to me is one of the dreamiest and most playful. The shape aligns with my ride style and can hold on edge but also seamlessly floats on soft snow. The board is versatile and has a quick response. I have taken it through every type of condition (with the exception of East Coast ice) and time and time again this board lives up to a high ride standard and I have been beyond pleased. The ridgeline checks all of the backcountry spliboard boxes and it does it with finesse!

This is my favorite shape. Its my most trusted shape. Either in POW or the spring, variable, groomer, or any condition it performs. its the board I'm on the most both recreationally, and professionally, guiding, teaching, or in any conditions I've found. its my workhorse board and the shape speaks to me

Ive been riding this board through all of its variations. From the Big Chief, 10th Mountain Division and now the Ridgeline. Weston keeps slaying it with this board. This thing rides like a laser. It is my go to for steep variable terrain here on the east coast. I have ridden it all over Mt Washington and the surrounding ravines in the Presidentials and it has not failed me yet. The camber profile gives me assurance and confidence in no fall scenarios yet it is still playful enough for me to have fun on the ride out. If I have my eyes on a steep line this is the board I take hands down. With all that being said of its performance in variable terrain this thing rips in powder as well.

I absolutely love this board! As a full time mountain guide and active snow enthusiast this is the go to board for me. When I plan trips, I don't always know how the conditions will pan out, but with this board I know I can handle them all. I ride a 155 and I am a 5' 8" woman that weighs about 160lbs.

I wanted a split to for Ice Coast steeps and the Ridgeline is all that and more. The Ridgeline holds an edge on the firmest ‘snow’ without chattering. You can rely on the camber under feet to make that next turn no matter what the conditions are. But that’s not all the Ridgeline excels at! It provides great float in powder and with a larger nose that plows through pow and chunder it’s hard to find a better all around board. Weston’s amazing bombproof base along with a top sheet that nothing can stick too makes it the ultimate shred machine!

Huge fan of this board! Tours like a champ on the uphill and charges anything you can throw at it on the down. Steeps, trees, pow filled meadows. Love how it just wants to go! Point it downhill and all I have to do is react. It’s almost like it knows what I’m thinking. Went with the 162W for some extra float and it delivered.

It holds an edge on all types of snow, handles heavy speed and thrive in deep pow. Best board I have a ever ridden in a while!
