  • Description

The Atomic Backland 107w Alpine touring ski is a perfect option for the backcountry skier seeking bomber downhill performance in a lightweight package. Durable, snappy, and powerful, the Backland 107w provides all the performance you need on the skin track as well as the biggest lines.

    Tech Specs

The Atomic Backland 107w Alpine Touring Ski is the choice of top freeride athletes worldwide. Lightweight woodcore and carbon construction in an aggressive freeride platform will give high-energy skiers the perfect tool to attack big lines and deeper snow. They’re light enough to perform well on the skin track, and the directional rocker profile and shape inspire confidence while ripping bigger lines.

If maximum downhill performance is the goal in your daily ski touring, the Atomic Backland 107w checks all the boxes. Dura-cap sidewall construction resists dents and dings with its convex shape, while beefing up the ski’s torsional rigidity. A full-length carbon stringer dampens vibration and returns energy in transition, creating a snappy, lively feel. In deeper conditions, the HRZN Tech shovel profile increases the surface area at the tip of the ski by 10%, maximizing float and creating a ski that gets on plane quickly. The Backland 107w is a time-tested freeride touring ski that will get you to the summit fast, and back down for another lap even faster.

    LOVE IT

OMG I love this ski! I was on old K2's for a while and this past year finally bit the bullet and got a new pair of touring skis! I have just had an incredible experience on this ski- it's light, it skis powder really well, and I just love that the graphic isn't over the top. THANK YOU cripple creek!
