Description
Introducing the Key Equipment x Kopala Disruptive Boots - the ultimate choice for splitboarders who seek a product that meets the demands of the pros. Designed for uphill efficiency and lateral stiffness, these boots provide unbeatable customization and on-the-fly adjustments for any terrain. Take on steep and icy conditions with confidence.
Purpose-Built Splitboard Hardboot for Backcountry Snowboarding
Hardboot splitboarders rejoice! Key Equipment teamed up with Krister Kopola to shave some grams off the already popular Disruptive Boots, resuting tin the Kopala Disruptive Splitboard boot. We are excited to announce this 1336g (27.5/28) boot is in the USA for splitboarders looking to tackle steep and gnarly terrain. The Key Equipment Disruptive boot is still made for soul surfing powder, but has all the upgrades needed for going farther, deeper, and being a snowgoat on rocky terrain.
Built to Tackle Gnarly Backcountry Terrain
Key Equipment revisited every part of this boot to keep it frictionless on the uphill and provide splitboarders with lateral stiffness to hold a skin track in steep and icy terrain. The walk/ride mode remains unchanged giving riders unparalleled customization for forward lean. The on the fly tool-less adjustment gives riders two positions to decide from in the field depending on conditions. And the all new Vibram sole provides sure-footed traction on rocks and icy ridges. Krister definitely puts boots through the ringer while constantly repelling into lines and down climbing to tackle objectives and these boots are ready to party.
Customizable Fit
We love this boot because the Polymide shell allows custom boot fitters to make any necessary punches for wider and higher volume feet. The Palau liner is heat moldable as well. Overall, splitboarders are really enjoying the Key Equipment boots, reporting that they ride and feel like a softboot on the way down with the increased uphill performance of being a ski boot. The Key Equipment x Kopola boot has limited inventory in the US. Don't sleep on this boot if you are looking for a lighter hardboot that still rides like a snowboard boot.
