Tech Specs
The Salomon QST 106 is an award-winning, next-generation ski designed to be the best all-mountain ski on the hill. For 2023 Salomon has made some updates to build upon the legendary performance of this user-friendly all-terrain ski. A perfect match for alpine or hybrid touring bindings, the QST 106 is a great candidate for a one-ski freeride-touring quiver.
Fans of the legendary QST series will notice some changes for this year. Increased taper in the shovel and tail compresses the sidecut without sacrificing surface area to maximize maneuverability and flotation. Deep rocker lines plane quickly, and make slashing turns and dumping speed effortless in deep snow. A full-length carbon backbone adds power and efficient energy transmission, and cork dampeners control chatter and feedback on hard snow. A titanal binding-reinforcement plate means you can charge hard with full confidence. A light and snappy poplar core and full length sidewall construction create a lively and smooth ride with amazing edge grip in all conditions.
