    Spark R&D hardboot dual height wires will work with any other brands tech toe. These heel risers for hard booting are the best because you can adjust where the low and high risers make contact with the heel of your boot no matter what size boot you have. Climbing wires offer 12 and 18 angles for comfort on any skin track. The heel adapter screws right into your splitboard riser inserts and places your dual height wires right where they need to be, hitting the perfect spot on the heel of your hardboot.

      Broke on the fist day out

      I can’t speak to the return policy because I haven’t pursued that path yet so 3 stars. But I had the risers up and unfastened the toe piece, the rear riser bent and is wonky now.

      In hindsight it was not unexpected, just a bummer, and I feel that ski touring gear would be better engineered. Because this is splitboarding gear, it seems like they cut corners because the market is smaller.

      The risers were crap to install as well, they float instead of being secured. Lame when I’m comparison to the space age tech they have SkiMo setups.

      Fast service

      Cripple Creek was great, very knowledgeable and fast service. I haven't got to use my hardboot setup yet as I live in New England and it's still 60 degrees outside so I can't speak to the gear but cripple creek was great!

      Do the job

      The Spark Dual Height heel risers work as intended and are easy to setup. I'm loving the switch to hardboot, and I can't believe it took me so long to realize THIS is the future of splitboarding! So much more efficient for the climbings, better downhill performance and when it comes to spring mountaineering, nothing beats bootpacking in ski touring boots. Definitely recommend.
