Why We Like It

  • The Monolink toe uses a single spring pack, which saves weight and adds stiffness.
  • The Easy Entry System's toe geometry makes step-in quick, even with worn boot inserts.
  • Four U-spring versions, 4, 6, 8 and 10, fix vertical and lateral release for skiers of different sizes.
  • Three heel riser positions give more climbing options than many race bindings.

Best Uses

  • Skimo racing
  • Ski mountaineering
  • Light tours
  • Race training
  • Narrow race and touring skis

Mounting and Setup Advice

Release is fixed by version: 4, 6, 8 or 10. Choose the version that matches the release value a shop calculates for your weight, height, age, boot sole length and skier type. The Trofeo has no brake included; use a leash or add the optional brake.

ATK requires tech inserts at the toe and heel in good condition and a boot model on its compatibility list for this binding, plus two checks at mounting: in climbing mode the boot must pivot at least 80 degrees on the toe pins before touching the toe piece, and tilted forward it must rest on the toe jaws, not the front lever. The binding needs certified tech inserts. The heel is a fixed mount; an optional adjustment plate adds length adjustment. Bring your boots in so we can mount the heel to your sole.
