Aventon Level 4 REC Step-Through Ebike

The Level 4 REC is the step-through version of Aventon's commuter platform, built around a 750 W rear hub motor with 1188 W peak output, 96 Nm of torque, and a boost mode that climbs to 1440 W when you need it. The 36 V, 20 Ah, 733 Wh battery uses LG 21700 cells, claims up to 75 miles per charge, and the regenerative braking system sends charge back to the pack on descents. This feature notches an extra 10 miles of battery life.

The 6061 aluminum step-through frame comes in two sizes and fits riders from 4 ft 11 in to 6 ft 4 in, and the low top tube matters more than people expect once you are carrying a pannier or wearing work clothes. An 80 mm coil fork with preload adjustment and lockout handles broken pavement, Tektro HD-E3520 hydraulic brakes with motor cutoff and 180 mm rotors front and rear handle stopping, and 27.5 by 2.2 inch Kenda tires roll fast without punishing you. The Aventon Control Unit adds 4G and GPS for tracking, geofencing, and remote lockout.
