The 4 amp output charges Bosch smart system PowerTube and PowerPack batteries efficiently, making it a good choice as a spare charger for home, work, or travel. The charger connects to the battery directly or through the bike's charging port, and it is designed to be compact and light enough to carry on longer rides or trips. It is compatible only with the Bosch smart system and not with earlier Bosch generations. Keeping a second charger at the office or in the car removes the need to carry one back and forth every day.
