Cervelo Soloist Force AXS

The Soloist sits between Cervelo's two flagship road bikes and is meant for the rider who trains all week on the same bike they race on the weekend. Cervelo puts the frame 250 g lighter than the S5 and 250 g heavier than the R5, and 126 g faster through the wind than the R5. Geometry comes straight off the R5, with 410 mm chainstays held across all six sizes, so handling stays consistent whether you are on a 48 or a 61. Clearance runs to 34 mm, enough for the wider tires most riders have moved to.

Two frame details matter more day to day than the aero numbers. Cables route under the stem and through the bearing cap rather than through the stem itself, so changing stem length does not mean bleeding brakes. The bottom bracket is a threaded T47 BBRighT, carried over from the R5-CX, which stays quiet and services easily. This build runs SRAM Force AXS with a power meter and Reserve carbon wheels on DT Swiss 350 hubs.
